Born Pretty | Haul

Hello! I have loads of blog posts coming for before I go on holiday and normal posts will resume afterwards, so if I don't post that is why. Today I am showing you some items I received from Born Pretty* a store that sells an array of items from Makeup to Accessories at a very reasonable price. I was gifted a $10 coupon to purchase some items and do an honest review. I chose items that I thought would interest you or prove beneficial in later blog posts. Also a quick disclaimer, you may notice on my blog I have been gifted a lot of items recently and have been writing about them, I will be doing some more reviews on products I was sent but after those are up there won't be as many because I had to push these posts back due to schoolwork and a trip, I hope you understand and enjoy!

Cat Ears

A lot of people, including me, have been looking for cute cat ears recently but there are loads out there and some can be really pricey. So when I saw these were only $3.99 which is £2.55 I had to get them. They are available in silver and gold, they are sturdy and have pearls decorating the ears which is adorable. You may notice a couple of the pearls have fallen off but they are easy to glue back on. I got these to include in an Ariana Grande inspired blog post so stay tuned for that! You can buy them here and they are now $2.99.

False Lashes

I am always looking to practice applying false eyelashes before I invest in an expensive pair so this pack of ten seemed like a good start and for $3.99 (£2.55) you can't go wrong. They are a little rigid but once you cut them to size and shape them to your eye, they loosen up and fit quite well. They give a natural look and are easy to wear. You can get them here.

Snowflake Ear Cuff

I chose this for a cute accessory and it looked really pretty. This simply can be shaped to fit an area of your ear be it for your cartilage or elsewhere and looks very simplistic. This is $1.99 which is extremely cheap and can be bought here.

That concludes my haul, my favourite item is the cat ears as they are so cute. All items can be purchased from http://www.bornprettystore.com/ and if you want 10% off your order just use the code LIVH10 at the checkout :) Thank you so much for reading, I have a summer essentials post coming next which I am excited to share. I will also post about my travel makeup bag and in-flight essentials too. Love, Liv xox

Naked Harry | Review

Hello everyone, today I am bringing you a short review on a mudscrub/facemask. This product from Naked Harry* can be used on your body, face and hair! I hope you enjoy this.

Naked Harry is an organic, vegan and cruelty free product from Australia! It is packed full of minerals, essential oils and skin loving ingredients. Some main ingredients include Dead Sea Mineral Mud, Pink Grapefruit Oil and Coconut (a full list is on the website.) This product can be used as a hair treatment, exfoliant, face mask etc. If you have acne, eczema, dandruff or dry skin then this is perfect as it can aid all of those and more. I love the sleek, simple packaging and it is re-sealable which is very handy. The smell is very distinct but after a couple of uses you get used to it, the scent is because it is natural. You can buy this from http://www.nakedharry.com.au/products/mudscrub-facemask for £9 which is a good price for 100g of product and it comes with a cute moustache spoon so it is mess free to get all your product out.

Thank you for reading, I hope this provided helpful and let me know on Instagram if you have tried it or are going to! I found this product useful to exfoliate my tan off. Love, Liv xox

Infruition | The Easy Way to Detox

Hello Everyone! This post is going to be on flavoured/detox water made easy, there is this wonderful product called Infruition. I was kindly sent this to review on here and am thrilled to be sharing it with you. As always, my opinions are honest and I only share items that I have loved myself. Hope you enjoy.

Infruition is a brand of water bottles designed for making flavoured water as easy as possible. They are BPA free, stain resistant and dishwasher proof. The idea is you can make your own flavoured waters at home, they are natural, sugar free and you dominate what flavours you want. It's so simple because with the bottle comes a chamber where you can put the fruit you want in, this means none of the fruits pips or nasty stringy bits float in your water yet you still get the same taste! There are two designs of bottles, original (glass) and sport (plastic.) All available in the colour choice of red, blue, green or yellow. Both hold 600ml of fluid.

Infruition Classic

This bottle is glass and has the chamber for fruit. It is a screw cap with a silicone lining. This bottle is heavy because it is glass but not in the sense you can't take it anywhere. I added strawberries with this one just because it goes with the bottle and tastes nice! I think this is perfect for the beach, by the pool or anywhere sunny, the glass keeps your drink cool which is ideal. This retails for £15.99 and can be bought here.

Infruition Sport

The sport bottle is perfect for those who are active and on the go all the time. I would put blueberries and strawberries in here or whatever you prefer! I think this is really handy to grab and go with. It is not too bulky and is a stylish, sleek design. I really like how it looks. This is again £15.99, click here to check it out further.

Overall, I really like these bottles. I think they are a fantastic idea! I am really thankful to be sent them so thank you Carmen from Infruition, they are perfect for summer! Stay tuned on my Instagram for posts on them. I will leave their links below so you can check them out and read on further. I have loads of reviews coming up which is really exciting so keep an eye out for them. Love, Liv xox

Summer Outfit Ideas | 3 Easy Looks

Hello Everyone! I am so excited for this as I haven't done something like this before and that is an outfit ideas post. I have chosen three outfit ideas that I think are very suitable for summer and hope you like them. I am not a fashionable person whatsoever so if these aren't good then I'm sorry- I did try! You can change these looks and dress them up or down. Hope you enjoy.

Outfit One- Casual and Simple
When it comes to clothes I am not the most colourful person so I tend to wear a lot of black due to being so pale. Although, in summer it does give you the chance to experiment with your style and venture for different colours. I chose to do an all black outfit with a pop of colour, the lace shorts are extremely flattering and do not show off too much skin. What I love about this crop top, is the pop of blue and white. It adds something to the look. I paired this with some statement sandals and a blue bracelet, keeping the accessories to a minimum ensures the look is not over the top. You can wear this look anywhere, chilling in the garden or shopping with friends- it's up to you!

Top- £18  Shorts- £25  Shoes- £8 in Tesco Sale

Outfit Two- Floral and Girly
This outfit is pretty and summery. The white dress is simply stunning, it has gorgeous detailing around the top and collar as well as an intricate laced back. It is very lightweight so is easy to wear in the hottest of climates and I think would look perfect on its own or thrown over a bikini! I teamed this with some vibrant turquoise wedges and a floral headband to complete the look. This outfit is great for the beach or a hot summer day.

Dress- £12 Topshop Sale Shoes- £5 New Look sale Headband- £2.50 Claires

Outfit Three- Stripey and Sporty
The stripy top and tennis style skirt adds a sporty vibe and by adding in the glittery trainers, it offers a sport inspired look with a feminine twist. I think this outfit is really cute and for some reason reminds me of Wimbledon (strange, I know!) I think this is a versatile outfit that can be dressed up or down, you can replace the shoes with pumps or flip flops, add some more accessories. Switch the skirt to some trousers, it is up to your preference.
Top- £12 Skirt- £12.99 Shoes- £20

That concludes all my outfits, I hope you liked them and found it somewhat useful. Follow me on Bloglovin and Instagram for updates and when I post! Thank you so much for reading. Love, Liv xox

Pasty Lady | Cutest Cat Jewellery

Hello again! I love posting frequently at the moment, although after summer it will be very hit and miss sadly. I was thrilled enough to get in contact with Pasty Lady recently and was offered to review some items of my choice. I hope you enjoy what I picked out.

The jewellery is packaged in the prettiest box ever, a gorgeous aqua blue box, When you open it has your items sitting on top of some blue paper and a thank you card. It is very simplistic and I like the fact you can reuse the box or use it to store your jewellery.

Cat Ears Bangle

This bangle is adorable, it is simple but has a lovely touch to it with the ears. The diamond gems on the ears make it look really pretty and add a nice touch. It is a little small but you can make it bigger bu stretching it slightly. This is available in gold or silver and retails for £8.33 but it is on sale now for £5.76. Click here  to buy.

Cat Ring

This ring is so pretty, it has a band that is adjustable to what size you want so it fits your finger, I love how dainty and cute it looks on my hand. This is available in silver, gold or black. Originally priced at £8.97, it is now reduced to £6.40 and can be bought here.

Summer Makeup Routine | Collab

Hello Everyone! Just a quick update, I won't be posting as regularly as I have this week. The days I will post will be Wednesday and Saturday. This will commence after next week. Today I am bringing you my Summer Makeup Routine which is a collab the lovely lilyisabella.co.uk so make sure you check out her post after mine. I hope you enjoy.
In summer, although it isn't the hottest, it can get quite warm so it's not ideal to wear a full face of makeup (but if you do that's totally cool!) I prefer a natural look, with focus on the eyes and brows.

For my base, I use the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer which adds a lovely iridescent glow to the skin. I prefer to skip any foundation but if I wanted some coverage I would use a BB cream. Instead, I like to use a highlighting concealer, such as the Collection Lasting Perfection in Fair. I place this in a triangle under my eyes, a dot on the chin and two dots on the forehead then blend. This gives the illusion of flawless skin. I then add some warmth to my face with bronzer or a contour shade, adding bronzer will define your face and give you that sun-kissed look. I apply some blush, whether it cream or powder, to add a natural flush. To finish off my face, I dust some highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones and under the brow bone for a beautiful dewy look.

I use a brow powder to define my brows, making sure they are a bit more bold but still natural. If I want to wear eyeshadow, I like to use a cream one as they last longer. The Maybelline Colour Tattoos are perfect for this, there are lots of shades for everyone's preference. For mascara a waterproof one is great as it won't budge or smudge all day. To finish off the whole look add a lip balm or for a pop of colour use a tinted one, such as lolliblam, this gives a subtle stain to the lips.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoy. I won't be posting until next Saturday and Sunday. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Bloglovin. Love, Liv xox

Pawsome & Purrfect Box Review

Hello Everyone, hope you are having a great weekend. I have finally finished school for the summer and cannot wait to start posting regularly. I won't be posting until next weekend though as I am on holiday. Today I am sharing a review on the Pawsome and Purrfect Box, I was kindly sent this to review on my blog and I was so excited to give my cat these treats. I was also sent the Pawsome Box which I gave to someone who has a Dog. Hope you enjoy!

The boxes retail for £19.90 per month with £1 delivery or you can subscribe for a box yearly which is £15.90, a 20% saving. The idea of the box is there are various themes and the items are tailored to suit your pet's age and needs. You receive your box between the 20th and 25th of each month. Whats great about this box is you can test your first one for free and if you love it you can subscribe. So this way, you know if your animal would like it each month. Each box comes with a leaflet describing what you have in the box.

Pawsome Box

The three images on the bottom row are from this box. I will briefly cover what was in the box and what items were Archie's (the dog) favourites. Included was:

- A flip flop toy
- Easy Tie from Happy Paws
-Towel from Camon
-Nom Dog Biscuits by Woof & Brew
-Money Bank Plush
-Chicken and Carrot Treats

Archie loved the treats a lot and after a day or two had ripped apart the plush toy, which is what he does, when the box was put in front of him he was really excited as he could tell it was for him. This box is ideal for occupying your dog, everything from treats to toys and has some practical and useful items too.

Purrfect Box

The six images on the picture above are from the cat box. Hugo (my cat) was so happy when I opened up the box, there were some amazing items and I was amazed at how perfect each item was for my cat. Included was:

-Valerian Cuddle Knot
-Animal Farm Catnip Treats
-Bouncy Balls from Camon
-Happy Pet Catnip Spray
-Tunnel from Good Girl
-Chicken Filet Bites

The cuddle knot stinks, it is horrid! However, cats love it. I put it outside just because I didn't like the smell and my cat started to play with it and attack it. He really liked the catnip treats, so much so when he was left alone with a closed box he managed to open it, pull the treats out and start to bite a hole into them. He then got it in his teeth and started shaking them and started to eat all the ones that fell out. I was amazed as he has never done this before, I guess he really liked them! The bouncy balls are great for him to chase after. I was so excited to see there was a cat tunnel, I used the catnip spray inside the tunnel and he was rolling around in it, it was really cute. He also loved the chicken bites.

Overall, this box is really lovely if you want to treat your cat or dog. There are some great items included for your pet and it is nice to see a subscription box for animals. I will leave the websites below, don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Bloglovin. Love, Liv xox

Miss Patisserie Review

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well! Today I am bringing you yet another review. I got in contact with Charlotte from Miss Patisserie and she kindly sent me some items to review on my blog. As always, my reviews are 100% honest and I hope you enjoy.

Miss Patisserie is a company that sells a range of luxury, cruelty-free bath items at an affordable price. You can get candles, bath products and skincare. They have everything from face masks to bath balls perfect for pampering yourself. You can order from the website here, they are also available on Amazon and Tesco Direct. I received two Bath Balls and a sample of their Body Scrub. It came packaged in a cardboard box with a pug on it, the bath balls are sealed in bags to ensure they aren't ruined when in transit to their destination which is great because fragile items, like bath bombs, often get damaged in the post. Here is what I received;

Peony and Pear Body Scrub Sample
This body scrub smells amazing, I am rubbish at describing scents but I would say this is sweet but not too overwhelming. The subtle pink colour adds a really nice touch to the scrub as most scrubs are usually boring and aren't so appealing to the eye. On the website the description states: 'An elegant fragrance of pink peonies, pear and soft melon leading to a heart of rose, lily and freesias. Nourishing and moisturising sugar body scrubs are perfect for bright, glowing skin.' This description is extremely accurate, the sugar scrub means it is abrasive on your skin yet is gentle enough to use without leaving your skin sore. The scrub left my skin feeling really moisturised and it smelt divine! The full size retails for £11.99 and is packaged in a beautiful jar.

Coral Bay Bath Ball
This product has to be my favourite one out of them all. I can't explain how wonderful it smells, it reminds me of a perfume which I can't quite put a name to. The scent is described as 'Notes of water lily and freesia as well as invigorating citrus notes.' The description also mentions that it smells like a fresh salty scent. I would definitely agree, it has that sweet scent from the lily and freesia and then the undertone of sea salt. The Bath Ball itself is so pretty, white with flecks of blues, pinks and purples. It leaves the bath a turquoise, blue/purple and pink colour and really does foam up. For £3.50 it is fantastic quality and is massive! You could use this all in one go or half, it is up to you.

Coco Bath Ball

This Bath Ball is a lovely pastel yellow with purple, pink and black dots. The lemon scent is really invigorating and uplifts your mood. It leaves the bath water with a yellow and purple colour and on the website it says that inside the bath bomb there is hibiscus flower petals which come through it starts to fizz, these come out as little black dots. This bath bomb is also £3.50 and again great value. The bright yellow colour makes you feel really cheerful when you see it start to fizz.

Both the Bath Ball scents are lovely and not overpowering at all, sometimes bath products can leave you with a headache. The scent lingers in the bath and on the skin afterwards which I like because usually the scent fades once it hits the water. They are both extremely moisturising and leave your skin very, very soft.

This concludes my review, I hope you liked it. All the products are a great alternative to other Bath Bomb companies as they are delivered to your door and are great value for the amount of product you receive. I will leave their links below so you can check out their wide range of products. I may post a pamper routine featuring these products soon. Make sure you are following me on Bloglovin to see when I post, I am trying to become a lot more regular. Love, Liv xox

The Period Box- Review

Hello Everyone! Sorry for not posting since the end of June. I have been really busy with two exams, a Biology ISA and an English essay. This meant I was focusing on revising, writing and preparing for them so simply did not have time to write any posts which is why I have neglected my blog and why there are lots of reviews set back. I also was not happy with how my blog looked, it just didn't look right. I wanted a black and white blog that was sharp and professional so I may re upload some older posts with better pictures. Today's post is on the Period Box, I was kindly sent this to review on my blog and as always I will be 100% honest! A huge thank you to Mags for sending me this. I hope you enjoy.

On  Period Box's website you can read all about their concept and what they do. Here is what it says on the website that sums up the box: ' PeriodBox is a premium monthly subscription service that bundles your choice of tampons and pads with hand-picked goodies and exquisite treats to cheer you up when you most need it.' They also send you your box five days before you are due on, this is really handy as you don't need to worry about buying supplies it will be delivered to your door! The monthly box retails for £12 a month with £2.95 P&P, this is an amazing deal because a lot of subscription boxes are overpriced and disappointing, however this box is great because what is in included is well worth the money. They also do a gift box which is £24.95 and free delivery as well as a first period kit for £29.95 perfect for a sister, a daughter or friend and both are free delivery. You decide if you want sanitary towels or tampons or even both. It is all up to you.

The box is packaged well and the design is really simplistic yet quirky. When you open up the tissue paper on top, your goodies are displayed. The sanitary towels are placed discreetly in a paper bag and have a really cute and funny sticker on to seal them up. Included is a list and description of all the treats you have in side.

Sass Intimate Mist and Cleanser:
Included is a discreet and small refreshing mist, ideal for your handbag. This can be used on the go. A cleanser is also included to keep things fresh. Writing about stuff like this makes me cringe, so I haven't gone into detail. You can click here to read about all of Sass's products in detail. This range is available to buy in Boots.

Chilli and Lime Extra Dark Chocolate
This has the most fiery kick ever! I can only handle mild spices so this wasn't for me but someone who likes spicy food enjoyed eating this. The company Seed and Bean has a variety of unique flavours.

Her Tea by Your Tea
This tea helps to reduce bloating, mood swings, lethargy and cranky skin. Perfect to drink when it is that time of the month.

Sweet Pocket Mirror
I adore this mirror, it has such a sweet design, there are several feathers on the back. It is also a convenient size for carrying around.

Flamingo Candle Melt
This smells really nice, it is subtle and leaves a lovely aroma.

When picking your sanitary towels or tampons with an array of absorbency, the brands to choose from include:
-Always
-Lil-Lets
-Cottons
-Tampax Pearl

Overall, this is one of my favourite period subscription boxes I have seen/tried. The items you receive in the box are really worth the price, everything is packaged beautifully and I think it would suit a range of ages. There is a box for everyone! If you want to subscribe for a box click here, you can cancel at anytime and follow them on Instagram here. I hope you enjoyed this post and found it useful as you can tell I really enjoyed reviewing this box. Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Bloglovin. I am aiming to post once or twice a week so follow me to keep updated. Love, Liv xox
